About Fornelos Wake Yucatán in Yuc.
Fornelos Wake Yucatán is a full-size clockwise cable on the artificial lake at Plaza La Isla Cabo Norte in north Mérida — the Mexico sister of Galicia’s Fornelos Wake Club, opened in 2022 on the former Cable Park La Isla. The line runs on the mall lake with ramps, sliders, and kickers. Sessions include board, helmet, and vest; certified instructors work beginners and advanced riders, with kneeboard used as an intro. A bar, changing rooms, and showers sit at the lake, and stand-up paddle is offered at the cable. It is a beginner-friendly urban lake day, not a second copy of Fornelos de Montes, Spain.
