Velocity Island Park

Velocity Island Park is a 15-acre spring-fed lake campus in Woodland, 20 minutes north of Sacramento off I-5, running since 2013. A five-tower Sesitec full-size cable tows up to six riders on a continuous loop with German-built kickers and rails; a System 2.0 beginner line tows one rider at a time on a straight back-and-forth for first stands and lessons. Yolo County’s largest floating aqua park shares the lake with a white-sand swim beach and stand-up paddleboards. Costa Fuego is the waterfront kitchen — sushi, tacos, wood-fired pizza, and a tequila bar — and Friday night rides light the cable. Gear rental and a pro shop sit on shore.
