Cable Wake Park Nouméa

Cable Wake Park Nouméa is the only cable wakeboard facility in New Caledonia — a German Sesitech two-tower system stretched between purpose-built digues roughly two hundred metres apart in the sheltered Baie des Dames at Numbo, on Nouméa's industrial fringe. The electric double-pulley pulls riders at up to thirty-seven kilometres per hour on a four-hundred-metre out-and-back run across the UNESCO-listed lagoon, with no engine noise and no fuel in the water. Run by the Mabo family watersports outfit, the park provides all equipment — boards, wetsuits, life jackets — and coaching from a BPJEPS-certified wakeboard instructor, making it as approachable for first-timers as it is for regulars sharpening tricks between trade-wind sessions. Sunbeds, a barbecue area, and paddle and kayak hire round out a low-key bay-front base that stays open year-round on demand.
